The Greenwood-Leflore Airport Board is the governing authority for the Greenwood-Leflore Airport. The Airport is jointly owned by Leflore County and the City of Greenwood. Ironically, the Airport is located outside Leflore County, across the border in Carroll County.

The Board conducted its routine review of all existing and proposed projects. Mr. Allan Hammons addressed the Board regarding a drainage problem that took place at the GECAS hanger during recent heavy rains. He proposed that the city and county pay $5000 to hire a special consultant to address the problem. The Board voted to recommend the action to the city and county.
