The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board took up the matter of the demolition of the old Livestock Barn. Several tax sales were voided. A law enforcement grant was accepted. Several issues relating to the Viking Bank Stabilization project were handled. The meeting had to be adjourned early due to loss of a quorum.
