The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

Bids for the purchase of Garbage trucks were considered. Some dilapidated property was discussed. T. W. Cooper presented several items related to emergency preparedness. Marsh Pickett was moved to full time status as the Veteran Service Officer for the county. A Professional Services Agreement was approved with Environmental Business Services relative to gas capture at the county landfill. The Board heard a report from County Court Judge Kevin Adams in closed session.
