The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board opened bids for commodity items. A zoning request public hearing was held for Dr. Kenneth Beal. A change order for the rehab of the old city library was approved. The Home Grant construction agreement was considered. The board approved a computerization of Justice Court. A contract to repair potholes in the airport runway was approved. A grant to conduct a water and sewer feasibility study was received.
