The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board appointed Joyce Chiles as board attorney, and reappointed other county officers and approved their fees and salaries. Various bids for commodities were accepted. The purchase of playground equipment for the park in Schlater was not approved.
