The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board took up several matters relating to the Home Grant. More discussion took place regarding Balkamp's request to complete the buy-out of its building. Discussion of a plan to purchase the Delta Apartments and obtain rehab grant money was held. An emergency was declared relative to the county court house telephone system and the water damage that destroyed it. Some bills were paid regarding the new emergency generator that was recently installed. The Grand Jury's inspection of public facilities was accepted.
