The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

A hearing was held on closing County Road 171. The situation at Delta Apartments was taken up. Some matters relating to the Airport Board and AIP funds were discussed. Supervisor Preston Ratliff brought forward a request from the county schools for assistance in repairing school parking areas. The matter of purchase of playground equipment for a park in Schlater was discussed.
