The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

Tax Assessor Leroy Ware presented the real and personal property rolls to the Board to begin the equalization process required by law. The plans for a new Unit System building were presented to the Board. A request from Sidon for help in repairing a widely-used road was approved. A new Veterans Affairs officer was appointed.
