The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board took up several items relating to the Home Grant. Slaughter and Associates presented information about the upcoming census and redistricting issues. A Resolution honoring Civil Rights workers was approved. Various funding issues relating to roads and bridges were taken up.
