The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board recognized various local football teams. The dangerous railroad crossing at Money was discussed. The County has been unable to secure the land for a road along the track for almost two years. The Board went into Executive Session to discuss its lawsuit with Waste Connection Inc. The Board would like to see the lawsuit settled soon.
