The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

Main Street came asking for money to support the lighting of the Courthouse. The Chamber of Commerce requested $7500 for the Christmas parade. Ethel Ratliff came to present her complaint regarding a health hazard in District 5. Several Oil Mill access road project matters were presented. Three amended lease contracts for land rental were approved. The Annual Maintenance Inspection was received from the County Engineer.
