The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

State Senators David Jordan and Lydia Chassaniol presented information about a new Highway Patrol station to be built. Some matters from NCPDD relating to the Oil Mill Access Road were approved. The Airport Agreement with the City of Greenwood was extended. An prolonged Executive Session was held to discuss unrelated litigation with Balkamp and Waste Connection. This session was continued until Thursday.
