The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

Beth Stevens of the Chamber of Commerce made a presentation. The Board took up matters from NCPDD relating to the Airport Ramp Extention project, East Leflore Water Association, and the Recreational Trail Project at Little Round Park. The sale of various water systems was approved. The Board voted to perform work on the Delta Correction Facility's parking lot. The Board went into Executive Session to discuss litigation with Waste Connection. The Board voted to authorize the county attorney to continue negotiations.
