The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board heard a request from Rogrick Wardell to obtain property from the county for the construction of an indoor swimming pool. Dynetha Thornton appeared to address the TAFN-Work program. Matters relating to the Little Round Park project were approved. The Board adopted a resolution honoring Coach Cedric McSwine. Sheriff Ricky Banks requested to advertise for the purchase of new weapons for the Sheriff's department. A session took place to discuss litigation with Waste Connection and regarding the old Balkamp building.
