The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board held its last meeting for the month. Beth Stevens gave an update on the Christmas parade. Payments was approved for the roof repair work on the Civic Center and the Courthouse. The Board approved asking for bids for a GPS tracking system for county vehicles. One solid waste assistance grant was received and another one applied for.
