The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board asked attorney Joyce Chiles to recommend a temporary Public Defender while Neyesha Sanders is on medical leave following her automobile accident. Some changes to the personal property tax roll were recommended by Tax Assessor Leroy Ware and approved by the Board.
