The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board heard from the Circuit Clerk regarding the hiring of additional clerks out of county funds. A discussion took place about the proposed demolition of the GA apron at the airport and the grant to reconstruct it. The matter was continued to the next meeting. The Buckeye Park lease came up for renewal. Public bonds for Robert Willis and Road Manager Jerry Smith were approved.
