The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board met briefly to receive the Horne Group assessment of the financial condition and value of the Greenwood Leflore Hospital. The Board approved going forward to prepare an RFP for the possible sale of the hospital. Mr. Moore and Mr. Brown did not attend the meeting.
