The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board approved the property tax rolls. A tax exemption for Milwaukee Tools was taken up. Approval for payment of several items related to the peanut facility contruction was given. The Board discussed ending the lease by MDCIIC at the incubator. All the election commission candidates were approved except for Bobbie Peoples. The process for preparing the hospital sale RFP was discussed.
