The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board considered an agreement regarding wireless communication in the county. Parking of a large trailer rig on County Road 540 was discussed. Payments on the peanut facility were approved. Derrick Chambers was appointed assistant maintenance director. An AT&T request for a right-of-way was taken up.
