The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board discussed repairs needed on Ione Street. Jim Jackson, hospital administrator, appeared to ask for approval to purchase two medical clinics in the hospital's neighborhood. Various bills for the peanut facility were approved. New telephone service contracts were approved. Various orders relating to the collection of taxes and disbursement of same were approved.
