The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board presented plaques to a number of former county officials and employees. The Circuit Clerk appeared regarding a request for funds to transport and set up the voting machines for the November general election. Several pay requests for the peanut facility project were approved. Tax Collector Annie Conley presented the property tax insolvency reports for mobile homes and business personal property. The Board accepted and approved the Hospital budget. A discussion of funding for the Leflore County Health Clinic took place. The Board voted to request that the Hospital provide $75,000 in funding for the clinic due to the loss of funding from Delta Health Alliance.
