The Board heard a report that the new roof at the civic center, which cost $285,000, did not fix the problems of leaks. The leaks are apparently due to faulting seals in and around the duct work that enters the roof from the HVAC units. Fixing those problem will cost another $40,000. The Board approved payment of a third of a million dollars for the peanut facility construction. The Board also voted to allow veteran funeral flags to fly over the court house, because they are too large to fly on the flagpole at the Legion Hut.
