The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board approved a court employee appointment for the circuit court. The Board approved helping pay for an airport taxiway widening project. The Board went into execute session to discuss the lawsuit filed against the county by Darla Jones for alleged Americans with Disabilities Act violations at the civic center and at the Chamber of Commerce, which the county does not own or administer.
