The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board accepted bids for the county depository. District Attorney Dwayne Richardson presented the need to hire an additional assistant district attorney. Ed Hargett, the prison consultant, presented a report and discussion regarding the renewal of the consultant's contract. Charles Turner came to discuss use of the old nurses school building.
