The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Industrial Board presented requests for a tax exemption for 4-Way Electric Co. and a discussion of an Itta Bena project. The Board granted the 10 year tax exemption. NCPDD brought matters relating to the Home Grant. County Court Judge Kevin Adams discussed the Juvenile Detention Center.
