The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board accepted professional services contracts on the 2012 Home Grant project. A discussion was held about drainage problems in various areas of the county. Final tax exemption for 4-Way Electric Inc was approved. The County Engineer brought for Board action the approval of engineering services for an EPA project, and a right-of-way request by AT&T.
