Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board approved the tax rolls. Marsha Steward, aide to Congressman Thompson, introduced herself. Several NCPDD matters were taken up. Bardin Redditt presented Airport Board matters relating to MDOT grant approvals. Otis Abron, the Ordinance Officer, conducted a "show cause" hearing on some dilapidated properties. The Board approved the County Engineer's Bridge Inspection for 2014. The weight limits on county roads were discussed.
