The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board interviewed candidates for the Emergency Management Director position. In executive session, by secret ballot the Board narrowed the list to three candidates. The candidates were not announced in the meeting. The Board discussed and reviewed the proposed budget for FY2013-2014.
