The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board voted to continue the contract with Judicial Correctional Services to collect unpaid fines for the Justice Court. The Board voted to proceed with a grant request to restore the old public library. Various technical orders relating to transfer of taxes to the city of Greenwood were approved. The Board voted to advertise for a crash truck for the airport. The Board approved the Operating Agreement with the City of Greenwood for the Airport.
