The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board approved an agreement with the Leflore County Health Center. Several Juvenile Detention matters were taken up. The county cell phones were discussed. Sam Abraham announced his taking retirement to save the county money. He will continue to work as usual. The Board did not approve his recommendation to take the money saved from his salary and provide raises to certain members of his office staff.
