The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

John Coleman came before the Board to discuss the Grain Terminal project. Circuit Clerk Elmus Stockstill presented information on the Voter ID initiative. An Executive Session was held to discuss an industrial prospect. The Board voted to go ahead with making an offer to the prospect.
