The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board held it's first meeting of the year. County officials were re-appointed. The Board voted 3-1 to replace Board President Robert Collins with Wayne Self. Mr. Moore was not present at the time of the vote. The Board also voted to place Emergency Management Director Troy Brown under the supervision of the Sheriff.
