The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board approved several requests from the County and Youth Court Judge Kevin Adams. Several other grant funding issues were heard. The matter of the sale of 1.1 acres at Browning Road and Highway 7 was taken up. The Board went into executive session to discuss the job performance of Emergency Management Director Troy Brown, but no official action was taken.
