The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board held a long discussion about the hiring of Kevin Matthews by the road department. Supervisor Robert Moore questioned whether the county checked potential employees for criminal records, and he abstained in the vote to hire Mr. Matthews. The Board discussed modification of the contract for RC Construction on the Coburn Supply Warehouse due to unforeseen structural issues.
