The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board heard a proposal from Dorothy Ivory to allow for summer intern workers with the emergency management department. Ed Hargett gave his quarterly report on the county prison. The County Engineer brought forward matters relating to EWP sites, the Viking Range Road Extention, and the Itta Bena Pumping station.
