The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The board presented a plaque to Ann Carpenter for her years of service. Beth Stevens came to discuss the upcoming Stars and Stripes celebration. Two contracts or leases for park areas were approved. Judy Burgoon's resignation was accepted.
