The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board opened bids on a pumping station for Itta Bena and for demolition and clean-up of dilapidated buildings. A plaque was presented to Judy Burgoon on her retirement. The Board agreed to allow the Post Office to put post office boxes on county property in Swiftown. A discussion of recent flooding took place.
