The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board voted to approve the purchase of a fire truck for the airport. Matters relating to the Home Grant were presented by the NCPDD. Circuit Clerk Elmus Stockstill obtained approval for a contract to maintain the electronic voting machines.
