The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board opened bids for the depository. Approval was given to go ahead with a proposal to convert the county prison facility into a contractor-run facility to house federal inmates. Anjuan Brown was appointed to the NCPDD board.
