The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board adopted a resolution commending Dr. V. K. Chawla. A discussion took place regarding support for the Mississippi Delta Strategic Compact. A plat revision was approved. Election Commission Chairman Edward Course spoke about the dispute regarding usage of two public schools as polling places, and asked the Board to intervene to resolve the matter with Ed Strebeck, the county school conservator. The county engineer presented items related to paving certain county roads.
