The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board met with members of the Itta Bena Board of Alderman regarding the financial crisis of the town and the possibility of the county buying out the town's half interest in the Itta Bena Industrial Park. No resolution could be reached.
