The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board heard presentations from the MVSU Alumni Chapter. A request to appoint a special public defender was entertained. The Board voted to proceed with the burial of the unclaimed body of Mr. Jessie Frost. The Board discussed the request for a 7% tax levy increase from the county school conservator.
