Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board of Supervisors voted to approve sale of 10 acres in the Industrial Park to Triangle Chemical Company for construction of a distribution center.

The Board approved the donation of land for the construction of a humane shelter for animals.

The Board agreed to spend $5000 to purchase street lights for Itta Bena.
