The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board rejected County Court Judge Kevin Adams' request for pay increases for the court reporters. Lee Abraham appeared before the board requesting a zoning variance and to discuss land needs in Itta Bena. Nick Chandler requested funding for the MS Delta Strategic Compact, and the Board approved $8000. The upcoming holiday closure schedule was approved.
