The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board met to elect officers and make appointments for the new term of office. Wayne Self was elected president, and Anjuan Brown vice-president.
A request to provide additional funding for the Leflore County Health Center was put on hold while information is sought regarding its non-profit status.
At the request of Circuit Clerk Elmus Stockstill, the Board voted unanimously to remove the backup printers off the county's electronic voting machines.
The Board appointed Suresh Chawla to the MDCC Board.
