The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board approved a tax exemption application for Coburn Supply Company. Charlie Montgomery addressed the Board on behalf of the Big Sand Drainage District. Pauline White came before the Board to discuss some property in Browning Community. Rising Sun Community Organization came before the Board to discuss problems and solicit financial support from the Board.
