The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board heard and disposed of various objections to the land roll tax assessments. The Board voted to accept the Blue Cross health insurance plan even though there was a substantial rate increase. No other insurance company would provide a quotation to the county. The Board went into executive session to discuss a personnel matter.
