The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board replaced Brian Thornhill, who resigned, and Gladys Flaggs on the Greenwood Hospital Board of Trustees. Serving in their places will be Nick Chandler and Freddie White-Johnson. Jail consultant Ed Hargett delivered his quarterly report. The future use of the old Florewood State Park was discussed.
