The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board discussed support for the Community Band. The Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday schedule was approved. The Board approved payment to the city of Greenwood for its share in the repairs to the old library building.
